Thanks for checking out Doug’s Foggiest Ideas.  A great friend, Zac, came up with the name for my blog.  He said that most people don’t have the “foggiest idea” what they are talking about and that I at least had that.  It stuck, so I have been blogging since 2006.  It has been fun.

If you know me you know that I am a Christ Follower.  I am passionate about my relationship with the Lord and the call on my life to make Him known.

Beth & I have been married since 1992 and we have 4 amazing kids.  We love living in Colorado! It is such a beautiful place.  Most of our free time is spent getting our kids to and from their activities and cheering them on in their sports.

I have been in full time ministry since 1991.  I spent a little over 10 years as a youth pastor and thoroughly enjoyed my time working with students.  I also served at different times in different churches as; men’s pastor, small groups pastor and in the church previous to Plum Creek was also on the teaching team.

In November of 2005 Beth, our kids and I began the process of planting a new church in Castle Rock, CO & we are privileged to lead the charge at Plum Creek.

When I’m not busy with church responsibilities, I enjoy spending time with Beth and the kids, studying the Bible, working out @ CrossFit, golfing (especially with Beth), basketball (although I have slowed down a ton), reading, hanging with our amazing friends and enjoying the beauty of Colorado.
