1.    What would you estimate average church giving percentage is for Christians in the U.S.?

2.    Read Acts 2:42-47.  This is a good definition of a church, and generosity is a major part of it.  What do you see as the elements of generosity here?

3.    Read 2 Cor 8:1-15.  What elements (attitudes, priorities, circumstances, motivations) of giving do you see in this scripture?

a.    This scripture says we should give generously.  Why?

b.    What is the key first step in this scripture?

c.    This scripture says much about giving with the right attitude.  In verse 12, it says God looks at our heart—our willingness in our giving.  What motivates us to be more willing?

4.    Read 2 Cor 9:6-15.  What elements of giving do you see in this scripture?

a.    The Greek word in verse 7 for “generously” is the where we get the word “hilarious”.  What can move us along to help us to give “hilariously”?

5.    How does “our people giving generously” make our church dangerous?
