I have been using Facebook to connect with people for quite awhile now but I have also just begun using Twitter as well.

I am really enjoying the simplicity and quickness of Twitter.  It is another great way to keep up with what is happening in the lives of those you choose to follow.  I am just getting started so I only have a little over a hundred “tweets” so far but it is pretty sweet!  (nice rhyme)

We also just updated “DougsFoggiest” so you can read my 5 most recent tweets on this site as well.  If you are a Facebook or Twitter person you can use the links here to follow my updates.  You have got to love technology!

I have mentioned here that I am part of a team of pastors that have been trained and prepared to participate in what is called NEXTnetworks.  It is a network that provides coaching for pastors all over the country.  One of the guys that I met at the training is a pastor, Hal Mayer, From  Tampa, FL.  He is a blast to hang out with and is doing a great job leading his church, Church at the Bay.

I have read his blog regularly and am going to post a link on my blogroll.  If you are a pastor you should get to know Hal!

Not really sure about all the whys, but thanks to your help we noticed that the comments weren’t working…they are back up now.  Thanks to all of you for the emails letting me know what was happening.  It should be working now.

Just wanted to give you all the heads up that I am going to be traveling with an incredible organization called World Orphans to Kenya and Nairobi.

We are working on the development of the missional efforts of Plum Creek.  I know that God has big plans for this trip.  I know I will be learning a lot and be exposed to God’s work in a totally different environment.

I will update DougsFoggiest when I am able but I don’t expect to be able to do that often.

Keep checking and I will try to post when I can.

I would also appreciate your prayers as we are on this trip.
